AI wedding planners in the UK: what's out there in 2026

AI wedding planning arrived properly in 2025 and 2026, and the field is now crowded enough that couples cannot tell the tools apart, especially when several of them are nearly the same name. This guide surveys every one we know of: what each actually does, and what it costs as published, so you can tell them apart without signing up to each.

The three jobs an AI wedding tool can do
Stripped of branding, every product in this field does one or more of three jobs, and the split decides what your evenings look like.
- Organise: checklists, budgets, guest lists, seating charts. The tool holds your plan and reminds you what is next, and you still do everything.
- Recommend: search venues or match suppliers to your style and budget. The tool narrows the field, and you still write to everyone on it.
- Work: write to the venues and vendors, read the replies, and keep the conversation moving. The tool does a piece of the job, not just the thinking about it.
Most tools do the first two. The third is where the hours actually go, and it is the rarest, so it is the first thing to check about any of them.

- Aisle Sage takes one description of your wedding and has the AI find venues and photographers, build a budget, and draft vendor emails. Global rather than UK specific.
- AskMaisie builds wedding websites with an AI guest concierge inside: guests RSVP and ask questions over WhatsApp or Telegram, answered within the details you have approved. From £395 as a one off.
- Promesse is a UK platform still in development, planning a smart timeline, a vendor marketplace and budget tracking.
The apps with similar names
Half the confusion in this field is the names, because everything wedding related reaches for the aisle. The ones we are asked about:
- Aisley: Wedding Planner (App Store) is an offline checklist, budget and guest list app for iPhone, made by a developer in Canada, with a £49.99 one time unlock. It has no AI features and no connection to us.
- Aisly: Wedding Planner AI (Google Play) is an Android app with AI seating charts, digital invitations, playlists and a countdown widget. Also no connection to us.
- AIsly is the assistant behind the aisle apps above, not a separate product.

How to choose between them
Choose by the job, not the branding. In practice the decision is usually one of these:
- You are marrying in the UK and the venue inbox is what is eating your evenings: that is Aisley's job, and the only one on this list that does the chasing for you.
- You are marrying abroad and guests are travelling: Aisle's room blocks and guest RSVPs are purpose built for it. The planning itself is still ours: Aisley plans destination weddings the same way, chasing included.
- You want a wedding website where guests get their questions answered: AskMaisie.
- You want a full planning app you drive yourself: Not Just A Wedding, or the offline iPhone app if you would rather keep everything on the device.
- You are still gathering ideas and want matching first: Knottly or Aisle Sage.
Five checks before you trust any AI planner
- Does it write to real venues, or only recommend them? The recommendation is the easy half.
- Who sends the emails, and can you read every draft before it goes? You should never learn that a message went out on your behalf.
- Does it know the UK? Giving notice, regional pricing, how UK venues actually answer enquiries: generic tools miss all three.
- Is the pricing a subscription, a lifetime unlock, or credits that run out, and does it say so plainly?
- Is there a human you can email when it gets something wrong? Every AI planner will, eventually.

Are AI wedding planners worth it?
Depends which of the three jobs they do. A tool that organises saves you designing a spreadsheet. A tool that works saves you the writing, the reading and the chasing. When you trial one, watch what the AI actually does: if it ends every sentence at a recommendation, the emails are still yours.
Will an AI wedding planner replace a human planner?
No. A human planner is in the room on the day and makes judgement calls nobody should delegate to software. AI planners take over the admin and the inbox around the wedding, which is a different and much cheaper job. Some couples will have both.
