# Aisley and Aisle (aisle.wedding): what is the difference?

> One letter apart and unrelated: what each product does, which weddings each is built for, and the honest answer to which one you need. Written by Aisley.

Published 30 August 2026, by Dominika, Co-founder of Aisley. Canonical: https://getaisley.com/guides/aisley-vs-aisle-wedding

The question arrives because the names are one letter apart: Aisley and Aisle. The short answer is that they are different tools for different jobs, built by teams with nothing to do with each other.

We build Aisley, so read this page knowing that. Everything below about Aisle is its own published description, and where one of the two is the obvious answer we say so, including when it is not ours.

## The short answer

[Aisle](https://aisle.wedding) is a platform for destination weddings: a marketplace of venues in Italy, Greece, Mexico and elsewhere, plus the guest side of a wedding abroad, the website, the RSVPs, the room blocks. [Aisley](https://getaisley.com/) is an AI wedding planner built for couples marrying in the UK, and she plans destination weddings the same way: she finds the venues, tracks the budget, and handles the email to venues and vendors, including the chasing.

What overlap there is comes down to jobs. A couple marrying in Tuscany with sixty guests flying in wants Aisle's room blocks and RSVPs, and will not get them here; the planning itself, venue hunt and chasing included, Aisley does for a wedding abroad the same as at home. A couple marrying in Yorkshire who cannot get a venue to answer an email wants the chasing done, and Aisle does not do that.

## What Aisle does

Aisle is built around weddings where guests travel. Its membership bundles four things:

- A marketplace of destination venues, each listed with capacity, cost and travel details.
- A guest facing wedding website with phone verified access, so only actual guests are inside it.
- RSVP management covering dietary needs and per event attendance.
- Room blocks with guest assignment and one consolidated payment.

An AI assistant named AIsly runs chat based planning across the same platform, and there are free calculators for budget and timeline. The membership is $19.99 a month after a 7 day trial, and the guest website stays live even if you cancel. Source: [aisle.wedding](https://aisle.wedding).

## What Aisley does

Aisley is built around the work a wedding creates, for couples marrying in the UK and abroad. She:

- Searches real venues against your region, guest count, budget and style, and shortlists the ones worth your time.
- Drafts the enquiry emails in your voice and sends them through your Gmail when you press send.
- Reads every reply, files it against the right venue, and pulls out the prices and dates that matter.
- Drafts the follow-up when a venue goes quiet, and keeps the budget honest against the quotes that arrive.

Nothing sends without you pressing send: she writes, reads and chases, and every decision stays yours. One plan at £10 a month, invite only while in beta, at [getaisley.com](https://getaisley.com/).

## Why the names are so similar

Because the aisle is the word every wedding product reaches for. An AI assistant called AIsly sits behind the aisle apps, an Android app is called Aisly, an iPhone checklist app is called Aisley: Wedding Planner, and we are Aisley at getaisley.com. Four names, one word, no shared companies: none of us are affiliated.

If you were looking for one of the others, we hope this page sorted the names out quickly. If you were looking for us, [the waitlist is here](https://getaisley.com/#rsvp).

## Quick answers

### Is Aisley part of aisle.wedding?

No. Aisley is a product of its own and is not affiliated with Aisly, AIsle, or Aisle Ai Weddings. Different teams, different products, one shared word.

### Which one is right for a wedding abroad?

Both, for different jobs. Aisle's venue marketplace, room blocks and guest RSVPs are built for weddings where guests travel. Aisley does the planning itself: the venue search, the vendor email and the chasing, for a wedding abroad the same as at home. For the legal steps of marrying abroad from the UK, see our guides to [getting married in Italy](https://getaisley.com/guides/getting-married-in-italy-from-the-uk), [Spain](https://getaisley.com/guides/getting-married-in-spain-from-the-uk) or [France](https://getaisley.com/guides/getting-married-in-france-from-the-uk).

### Which one is right for a wedding in the UK?

Aisle's marketplace lists destination venues, so it is not shaped for a UK wedding. If the venue hunt and the vendor email are the load, that is [Aisley](https://getaisley.com/)'s job.

### Does Aisley plan destination weddings?

Yes. The venue hunt, the vendor email, the chasing and the budget work wherever you marry. What is UK first is the knowledge behind it: costs, regions and the guides. The guest side of a wedding abroad, websites and room blocks, is not built yet.
